It is breathable, capable of operating at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 130°C, with a surge temperature up to 150°C. It features an air permeability rate of 17 cm3/cm2/sec at 125Pa, and is designed to handle environments with vibration and oscillation, although it is not suitable for compressive applications.

    The FM1 Breather Bag complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2800 for food safety, ensuring it is safe for use in food processing environments. While it is not Atex Certified, meaning it is not suitable for use in explosive atmospheres, the BFM® cuff and spigot system integrated with the breather is 3A certified as a sanitary fitting and also meets EU regulations (EC) 1935/2004 & 10/2011.
