The connector is particularly suited for environments with heightened explosion risk concerns, as the direct earthing capability significantly enhances safety by preventing static accumulation.

The inclusion of terminal lugs attached to earthing cables at both ends of the connector provides a direct path for static electricity to be safely dissipated into the ground. Made from Seeflex, a durable and flexible ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane, the connector has a wall thickness ranging from 0.60mm to 0.70mm depending on the diameter.
