At Siftex, our success is built on the dedication and talent of our team. This month, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Evan Bliss, our exceptional CAD Designer, who has been making waves with his creativity, precision, and innovation since joining us a little over a year ago.


Evan’s journey to Siftex is as dynamic as his designs. With a background in digital media management for a software company and CAD design for the aerospace industry, Evan brought a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to the table. Although he had no direct industry experience before Siftex, his adaptability and commitment quickly made him an indispensable part of our team.

As Siftex’s CAD Designer, Evan is responsible for reviewing and creating detailed designs for custom orders. Whether refining a customer’s concept or starting from scratch, his perfectionism and attention to detail ensure every design meets the highest standards. Evan also collaborates closely with our cutter to guarantee every piece is cut precisely to specification—a process he’s personally helped streamline with innovative adjustments to our 3D design workflows.

One accomplishment Evan is particularly proud of is the time-saving improvements he’s made to the 3D design process. These innovations not only boost efficiency but also enhance the quality and consistency of our designs, reinforcing Siftex’s reputation for excellence.

Evan’s drive to improve doesn’t stop at design. Since joining Siftex, he’s completed multiple CCAT trainings in process improvement and leadership. His time at the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering in high school also provided him with a strong foundation in design and 3D dimensioning, skills he continues to refine through LinkedIn and industry news.

Looking ahead, Evan’s career goals include expanding his design expertise and building a dedicated design team at Siftex. By fostering collaboration and efficiency, he envisions taking our design capabilities to the next level—and we’re thrilled to support him on this journey.

Outside of work, Evan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two dogs, whether it’s going for walks or playing board games. He’s also a fan of video games, which likely fuels his creative thinking.

When it comes to workplace values, Evan emphasizes the importance of teamwork, flexibility, and a sense of humor—qualities he embodies every day. His motivation stems from a deep desire to learn and tackle new challenges, as well as his commitment to supporting his family.
