Camila Angeles is the Assistant Supervisor at Siftex Equipment Company, where she has been a valuable team member for one year. In her current role, Camila takes charge of cutting materials for all Sewing department orders, assists her supervisor, Yailyne, with various tasks, and ensures the team meets their weekly goals. With over a year of industry experience in fabric cutting, she brings focus, efficiency, and a drive for improvement to her daily responsibilities.

Before joining Siftex, Camila worked as an Office Coordinator for a chimney company. In this role, she honed her customer service skills and gained knowledge about chimney and home safety. This experience gave her a strong foundation for her transition to the manufacturing industry, where her organizational and problem-solving skills have made a lasting impact.

One of Camila’s proudest achievements at Siftex was leading the reorganization of the Sewing floor. Working closely with her team, she helped restructure the department to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Additionally, she played a key role in reorganizing the warehouse and its BFM inventory, a multi-day effort that resulted in a streamlined system still in use today.

Camila describes herself as focused, efficient, and driven. Her attention to detail ensures that every project meets Siftex’s high standards, and her commitment to keeping operations on track helps her team meet deadlines. Guided by her natural drive to succeed, Camila continuously looks for ways to improve and innovate within her workspace.

While Camila does not currently hold formal certifications, she credits her supervisor for mentoring her and helping her grow as a leader. She also stays informed about industry trends and tools through updates from Siftex’s General Manager, Katty, who ensures the team is equipped with the knowledge needed to excel.

Camila’s career goal is to further develop her leadership skills, and Siftex is actively supporting her growth by providing opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities. Outside of work, Camila enjoys hiking, exploring new experiences, going to the gym, and discovering new restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie.
